Privacy Policy

Whimcall processes the information needed to provide browser video calls and, for Pro customers, subscription billing. Payment details are collected and processed by Stripe and are not stored by Whimcall.

Call data

Calls are designed to be ephemeral. Audio and video are transported with WebRTC. Whimcall does not record calls. Temporary signaling, presence, chat, and caption data is used to operate the active room and is not intended as persistent message storage.

Account and billing data

For Pro, we retain a billing account identifier, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status, and the billing email supplied through Stripe. Stripe processes payment and billing details under its own privacy policy.
